Nursery School Section
Welcome to Marvel International School Ughelli Nursery/Play school/Kindergarten section. The nursery section spans through a period of 5 years. This is made up of the crèche/daycare, the pre-nursery and the nursery 1, 2 and 3 classes also called Kindergarten. The overall objective of our nursery section is to prepare our pupils for the basic school experience.
Our approach to Nursery Education is centred on meeting the unending needs of the nursery-age child (0 – 5 years). This school section is fully stocked with visual and audio-visual instructional aids and a well equipped children’s playground to supports the child’s recreational needs.

- At Marvel International School Ughelli, we take seriously the activities of the Nursery section because we know that the milestone of every child’s development both academically, spiritually and socially, depends fully on the foundation upon which the child’s learning process is built.
- Significantly, our nursery section does not only inculcates the young child’s ability to read and write, but also to comprehend and perform basic self-care tasks such as dressing, feeding, toileting and carrying put certain basic duties themselves.
- In this section, we are always particular about the speech development of the child so we have introduced courses in speech transformation where we teach the pupils how to speak in the right diction.
